The ongoing CJP-linked protests over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination have sparked reactions from several Bollywood personalities, with opinions ranging from concerns over political exploitation to strong criticism of the demonstrations.

Actor Preity Zinta urged that the students’ movement should not be “hijacked by anti-national elements.” She appealed for constructive dialogue between the government and students, emphasizing that young people should not become victims of political agendas.

Lyricist and writer Manoj Muntashir took a tougher stand, reportedly describing the protesters at Jantar Mantar as “deshdrohi” (traitors). His remarks generated widespread debate and criticism on social media, with supporters and critics expressing sharply divided opinions.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher also expressed concern that political forces could misuse the protests for their own interests. While supporting democratic expression, he urged citizens to remain alert against attempts to exploit student movements.

Senior BJP MP and actress Hema Malini appealed for restraint, stating that protests alone cannot resolve complex issues. She encouraged dialogue and advised students not to be influenced by those pursuing political objectives.
