NIN Pune Invites Applications for 100 BNYS Seats for 2026–27; Registration Closes on October 19

The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune, under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has invited applications for admission to its Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) degree programme for the academic session 2026–27.

The admissions are being offered at NIN’s flagship Nisarg Gram campus in Yewalewadi, Pune, with 100 seats available for the upcoming academic session.

NIN is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Ayush and works to promote Naturopathy and Yoga through healthcare, education, training and research. The institute is also the first Central Government institution in India to offer the BNYS programme in affiliation with a Central University, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi.

5½-Year Residential BNYS Programme

The BNYS programme is a 5½-year full-time residential course. It includes 4½ years of academic and clinical education, followed by one year of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI).

The course combines classroom education with practical and clinical exposure in Naturopathy and Yoga, providing students with training in an integrated healthcare environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology (PCB)
  • English

are eligible to apply, subject to the prescribed eligibility and medical fitness requirements.

Preference will be given to candidates who have appeared for NEET-UG 2026. If seats remain vacant, admissions will be made on the basis of Class 12 PCB merit, following the prescribed admission procedure and reservation norms.

Nisarg Gram Campus

The NIN’s Nisarg Gram campus is spread across 25 acres and includes a 250-bedded Naturopathy Hospital, academic and research facilities, separate hostels for male and female students, modern yoga halls and specialised Naturopathy treatment infrastructure.

The campus is designed to provide students with an integrated setting for academic learning, clinical training, research and wellness practices.

Important Admission Dates

The online application process began on September 29, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications until October 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

The admission schedule is as follows:

  • Application deadline: October 19, 2026, 5:00 PM
  • Provisional merit list: October 27, 2026
  • Final merit/waiting list: October 30, 2026
  • Counselling: November 12–13 and November 18–19, 2026
  • Commencement of classes: November 30, 2026
