In the sereies of ongoing programme of Swasth Nari Sahakt Parivaar Campaign launched by Prime Minister Modi on his birthday. Hospitals of Delhi also observing the campaign and conducting health camps for Women and children.. On Day four of the ongoing camp under the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’, Hon’ble MP Ms. Bansuri Swaraj visited VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital to interact directly with patients, review services, and boost ongoing health initiatives. The camp is dedicated to furthering the vision of a healthier and more empowered India, especially through preventive health and awareness activities for women and girls. During her visit, Ms. Swaraj interacted warmly with patients and staff, understanding their experiences and health needs. She distributed sanitary napkins to adolescent girls and women, emphasizing the importance of menstrual hygiene—in line with creating a culture of health and dignity for all. In her address, she advocated for adopting millets for nutrition and underlined the critical link between women’s health and national strength (Nari Shakti, Nari Health). Continuing her focus on women empowerment, MP Swaraj lauded the team for ongoing yoga and NCD screening, mental health well-being sessions, and TB awareness campaigns happening daily at the camp. She praised the presence and leadership of the Director Dr Sandeep Bansal, Medical superintendent Dr Charu Bamba, Principal Geetika Khanna, AMS Dr. R P Arora, Dr. Krishan Kumar, Dr. Bindu Bajaj HoD Gynae, and the health team for their relentless efforts.

The camp’s holistic approach, which includes yoga, preventive health checks, mental wellness, and community counseling, was highlighted as a model for community-based healthcare delivery.MP Swaraj called upon all women to remain informed, prioritized, and proactive about their health. She reiterated that empowered women form the backbone of a strong and developed India.
