Actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has voluntarily exited the reality show Lock Upp 2 after experiencing health complications, including uncontrolled diabetes, anxiety linked to menopause, chest pain, and breathing difficulties.
Speaking after leaving the show, Sunita said she wanted to experience a reality show but soon realized that her health condition made it difficult to continue. She explained that her diabetes was not under control and that menopause-related anxiety had added to her physical and emotional stress.
“I wanted to see what reality shows are like, but I don’t think they are meant for me. My health is not good, my diabetes is uncontrolled, and I am experiencing anxiety because of menopause. I was also having chest pain and difficulty breathing, so I requested to leave the show,” she said.
Sunita added that she felt much better after exiting the show and expressed gratitude for the friendships she formed during her stay. She particularly mentioned actor Ram Kapoor as someone she became close to during the experience. She said she would have continued if her health had not worsened.
Health Experts Stress Importance of Timely Medical Attention
Medical experts say symptoms such as persistent chest pain, shortness of breath, and severe weakness should never be ignored, particularly by people living with diabetes. Diabetes significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, and menopause can also contribute to changes in heart health and emotional well-being.
Experts advise individuals experiencing these symptoms to seek immediate medical evaluation rather than assuming they are solely related to stress or hormonal changes. Early diagnosis and proper management of diabetes, anxiety, and menopause-related symptoms can help prevent serious complications.
Sunita Ahuja’s decision to prioritize her health has sparked conversations about the importance of listening to warning signs, especially for people managing chronic health conditions while coping with physically and emotionally demanding environments.
